He prepares demands for payment, court submissions and documentation in payment proceedings, and carries out VAT analysis for settlements and for the review of tax documentation. He is a trainee attorney-at-law and works in Polish and in English.

Debt recovery is where most of my work sits. An unpaid invoice from a Polish counterparty follows a set sequence in Poland: a demand for payment, then, if that produces nothing, payment proceedings before a Polish court. What decides how quickly it moves is usually the documentation assembled at the start rather than anything that happens later, which is why I prepare the demands and the court submissions with the whole sequence already in view. If you are a creditor outside Poland, this is also the point at which it becomes clear what your contract and your invoices will actually support in a Polish court.

Alongside that, I support the team in commercial disputes and in day-to-day legal services for businesses, and I carry out VAT analysis for settlements and for the review of tax documentation.
